    Er waren dagen dat we zon niet zagen begin 2021. Doordat ook nog veel winkels en alle horeca gesloten waren, was het net alsof we in een vacuüm prikkelloze wereld leefden.     Eerste dag van het jaar 2021. Een mistige ochtend in Amsterdam Westerpark. Het is erg rustig, ondanks dat de cafés gesloten waren en er weinig feestjes gevierd werden zijn er weinig mensen buiten in het park.

    Op de tweede dag van het jaar 2021. Net ten noorden van Amsterdam. Een ritje buiten de stad er is nagenoeg niets te zien door de dikke mist die er over de velden en het kanaal hangt.
